This is a 3 hour course on the basics of harmonica playing. no experience necessary. FREE HARMONICA and Materials included with every $50 registration. This course will cover history, terminology, and how to play the harmonica. We will work within a booklet I put together to help my students take the harmonica through a lifetime of practice techniques. The booklet is included in your registration!:There will be a couple small breaks. At the end (4pm) there is an optional Jam, giving each student a chance to play on a mic and show off their new skill. We will welcome harmonica players of all skill levels and will tailor one on one time and group time on different levels of difficulty in playing, but will offer equal value to any level of player. This clinic will bring a special guest in for part of the class, Accomplished Guitar player, Vocalist, Piano player, and Song writer, Dennis Alstrand. He will accompany us on the journey, will be there to entertain and answer questions for those who play other instruments. The harmonica is a pocket sized orchestra of sound, and an incredible secondary instrument. it takes a day to learn, and a lifetime to master. Kids under 18 will need an adult present. All ages over 8 yrs old can attend. This is a once and done course, but I offer private lessons to those who want to continue a focused study of the Harmonica.
